Joseph Dylan Summer
Joseph Dylan Summer is a native of Gainesville, Georgia. He was raised by his mother and father, Chandelle and Daniel Summer. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 2009. Later, he graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012 and the University of Georgia, School of Law in 2016.
Mr. Summer has handled thousands of misdemeanor cases as well as many felony cases. He travels across all circuits in North and Central Georgia. Several of Mr. Summer's cases have been featured in the Gainesville Times. Mr. Summer represents people accused of criminal offenses throughout the State of Georgia involving DUI, traffic offenses, drug offenses, sex crimes, probation violations, property crimes, and many more.
While in law school at UGA, Mr. Summer interned at the Western Judicial Circuit, Office of the Public Defender and the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, Office of the Public Defender. He was an articles editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law where he published an article on cannabis patents.
Mr. Summer considers it a privilege to practice law and takes his oath as an attorney very seriously. He recognizes that his obligation is to represent his clients to the best of his ability and cares deeply about the result
In his spare time, Mr. Summer enjoys hiking, reading, and creating murals for Gainesville.
